Of course somebody knows and it took me when I did it the first time just about 12 minutes to come up the the full motor spec.
I saw both the G54B and the B52B used the same rod and main bearing, and they both had the 2 main journal sizes. A quick check showed the used the same rods.
So it was simple to see that the main difference was the one was 84mm more and the other 91.1mm bore.

Zip boom---If we were going to use the G52B 90mm stroke crank and the same rod then the piston compression distance would naturally be the same as the 2,0 motor.
Easy as pie.

Why do you ask?

And why would you ..?? The G54B works good the way it is... Theres a better 2.0 in the Mitsu line thats a 2.0 stock with less crank mass to and not have the long rods to deal with...

The hybrid works FAR BETTER than the 2,0 or 2.6 does, thats why.

Nothing wrong with the long rods, the rod/stroke ratio is OK with the 90mm stroke crank.

And of course there are Mitsubishi motors which have about 2,0 capacity with FAR BETTER heads which weigh 85-88 lbs LESS, but maybe the OP has a stack of blocks and cranks for the old buggers, or doesn't want to fuck with figuring out bellhousing and plumbing to use a 4G63B.

That's why I was curious WHY he was asking, not if it generally made sense to put any effort into the old lumps.
