AN -4 or AN -3 for brake lines?

AN -4 or AN -3 for ss braided brake lines to caliper/drum? I can do either. Just curious as to if there's a benefit to smaller or larger.

Grant what I understand is if you are moving LOTS of fluid the you go for the bigger size.
BIG heavy cars with 4 x 1.88 and big masters like 3500 lbs Nascar maybe but all real rally cars (as in "over there" I have seen used -3.

You should already have my $85 deposit from back in August, so yes. As usual, you just have to keep me updated. A week or two's notice before you need money is always good too. Then I can stop spending and start saving for a short while. I only get a good paycheck on the first of each month too.

And it's just me building a Merkur. Aaron's running around down in South America and I have no clue what his plan is when he gets back in a few months. His car may just end up being a spare shell for me. It's sitting in my garage now.

BTW- If you are doing the entire -3AN conversion with hardline Summit sells a 37deg flaring tool for ~$40 that makes a nice flare. Pegasus Auto Racing also sells almost any adapter fitting that you would need to change a standard MC over to 37deg.

Of course if we read deep enough we would find that below -6 a SAE 45* flare is OK and vice versa.

But we have to dig a while to read that.

(The point of contact between cone and seat is moved so infintissimally as to be unimportant.)
