Morten, case is closed, you made your choice. You really should shut up about things were it is obivious you don't know what you are talking about and are obviously trying to caause problems: the one rule we have here.

Ahhhh I believe THAT JVL engine failed the first time out, at least that's what I've been told.

"Morten, case is closed, you made your choice."

Maybe for you it's closed.

"and are obviously trying to caause problems".

We'd be in a very different situation if, when I first posted about your engine build being seized you had taken a different approach. But instead you started all this crap about payment, "he didn't order a full rebuild", the accusump... If you had said, "put it in a crate and ship it to me and I'll correct my fuck up", this would been avoided.

It's no secret that the engine you built Pat failed (first time out) and that mine failed after 1 event and 1400 miles of street driving. I fail to understand how bringing up Pats engine is breaking a "rule" or just "trying to cause problems".

How is this different when you tried to draw a paralell between my transaction with you and the one I had on Ebay with the Celica ?

If you dish it my friend, at least be prepared to take it and not go crying about "rule" breaking like a baby.

There's a pretty good chance that the block is garbage because of the "circlip incident", I'll know by early next week after it's been honed.

Dude,

You're having it honed without first having the bored mic'd to see if it is worth honing? Who's idea was this, yours or the machine shop?

That's like painting a car, and then inspecting it for rust.

"That's like painting a car, and then inspecting it for rust."

That's a great analogy, I like it ! smiling smiley

Jens I don't know... he was going to hot tank it first. Then hone the one cylinder (the one with the circlip damage), the concept of honing one was suggested so I'd have proof (I'll be able to take a pretty pic and post it) if the block turned out to be garbage.

I'm going to be assembling the engine at the machine shop with the machinist, which will be a wonderful learning opportunity.

I've got the camshaft spec sorted, and now just have to decide on a performance clutch and pressure plate.

Block update :

Just got a call from the machinist...

The Circlip gouge is too deep to hone out, so the block is garbage !

You want to ship me up a block JVL ?

It is garbage ONLY TO AN >IDIOT< or somebody who hasn't a clue.
What is wrong with machine shop guy?

Even YOU should see the problems reconsiling two different people: your machine shop guy said, or you reported he said something about hot tanking this OBVIOUSLY SPOTLESS block. That's bullshit either in your reporting what he said or yhis intention.
How can we deal with possible padding/greed or mere self interest from your guy and utter gullibility/ignorance on the your and an LIMTLESS amount of time to type question after question after question?

As you know, there are 2 different main bearing diameters for the G52, and there are 3 bellhousing patterns. If you don't know that then you SHOULD be spending less time lamely trying to cause problems and more time reading your service book.

Since Mitsubishi thought it was a brilliant ide to have two main bearing sizes and three bellhousings a _smart_ person would understand that finding a block EXACTLY like the one you have would likey be difficult, so a smart person would have read what I said earlier about sleeving or linering the hole.
But I said a smart person, so that precludes you and you machinist.

See the problem?
You're dumb as a brick and stubborn as a mule, and that's a bad combination.

Why don't you jump off a bridge?

( I will make a phone call about blocks but it would help slightly to know what the bellhousing distance at the top bolts is on that block.
Write Rich Smith 20-40 emails and he can try and fill you in where and what to measure. THEN I can see if finding a block is do-able or the simpler course of a liner is the best choice.

You see IF you had choosen to accept the proposed deal, this wouldn't be a problem would it?

But you chose to not accept the proposed deal, and as usual, you have created more problems.
Is that your Life Goal?

Soooooooo I've been busy in the bathroom reading all about this shit that Morten is slinging and am wondering........ The paper is all used up..... Should the paper be wrapped OVER or should it go UNDER......
Perhaps we should take a poll........

Hey Morten.... You have a RALLYCAR with a RACEMOTOR. Get a grip. It happened. JVL made an effort to accomodate you and you did your own thing. You will now get to pay for it and I gently suggest that you SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT. Not many of us here at RallyAnarchy are interested in your endless fucking whining. Certainly I'm not.

Racemotors blow up and do not come with a long warranty. Deal with it.

I'm really glad that I didn't end up supplying you a differential.

That's the thing that Morten just seems too dim to even faintly grasp, all his whining and HUNDREDS of emails and qestions are making it obvious that the only solution is to have no business dealings of any sort with the guy because a0 he never does what is suggested, cool smiley whines incessantly and c) never shuts up.

I even said to him that they rally community is just too small for anybody to fuck people without garbled version which are really hurtful circulating around.

By the way, it goes over the top.

I'm still trying to figure out if Morten's machinist is real, a beginner, or just a figment of Morten's imagination.

It's difficult to imagine that you're totally clueless to grasp the concept that A LOT of people in the rally community have NOTHING good to say about you or your WORK !!! The only postitive thing I've heard is that your suspenders are very good and reasonably priced.

Would you shut up already about being fucked, and grab a box and send me my harnesses that you promised 9 months ago ?

Well actually John if you must know... I found the machinist through a referal from a friend. Like I said before I'm going to assemble the engine with him, and learn as much as I can. He's going to charge me a few hours labour, so the hot tanking will be free. As to professional... He's got the crank from a well known funny car drivers engine sitting in his office, and exports a custom motors.

It's nice to walk into a shop and not trip of whole families of cats, differentials, kitty litter, and tools that clog up the floor like I had to deal with at your place.

It'll be interesting to see how much longer that his engine will last than yours and see if it leaks any oil, especially since you've labeled him as "dumb".

Ultimately one's reputation is not by the words they speak but instead by the work they produce !

Tell me John, did you assemble my head ?

You're entitled to your opinion John !

Wow... that's mature !

The "proposed deal" - what after I had already taken the engine to a machine shop and you saw the pictures online which OBVIOUSLY state that you were no longer able to blame various components on the car, the driver, the "partial" build you stated you did,etc...

Do you consider yourself honest and reputable ?
