Yes Mortie, I am aware and I am aware that many are guys with virtually the same level of comprehension as you show.

But it seems that for example Dave Hintz is happy with the motor I built for him, John Lane has had a good deal of fun with stuff I supplied him for his motor, Dave Clark sure had lots of fun with things I built him, I think Mike White now up in Maine finally got a motor that has stayed sorta together, but I'm sure thre are lots of people who aren't thrilled, many who have had no dealings at all, ,or only heard one seriuously slanted version.

Whatever.

As for dragging up ANOTHER SETTLED THING (That's 2 strikes Morten: second offense at purposely trying to cause harm by omission of facts).
I said I would pay a pro rated amount for the remaining time left on the belts, you were to forward photos of the date tags showning the MFG date which was what? 02???

You never sent photos SINCE YOUR ACTUAL INTENT IS JUST TO CAUSE PROBLEMS AND DEFAME ME.
Or you are maybe embarrassed that you made an enormous stink about belts which WERE EXPIRED????

You also fail to say that they were removed against my vehement and persistant arguments and only agreed to remove the belts to shut your maw up so I could eat my dinner it being past 10 at night.

You bring up the broken POS brittle (and dangerous) plastic over the odo and
YOU're BANNED.

Loook, everybody's sick of your shit, I've gotten 2 more emails and another phone call, you're fucking up a nice friendly site so to quote your own words from another boring thread "It's nine months ago".........get over it,
AND SHUT THE FUCK UP.

I'll get you your pictures of the tags, since you claim to be so honourable.

In pro-rating the belts, don't forget to take the value of them out of the equation of what they're worth after they're expired. They're not worth $0 after the date runs out on them.

Go back and look at the escallation of this shit on the threads... before you start mentioning anything about anyone causing problems in our forum !

Prick !

Skye that pretty immature !

Appreciate the gesture of neutrality on the topic and it disappears, your course keeps it inflamed.

I read someone's post this morning... along the lines of this having caused problems in our forum. I'm trying to make an attmept.

But if you're encouraging everyone to ignore me - isn't that giving me an open invitation to continue on the topic as opposed to offering ammends ?

Morten,

No one is going to be dragged into anything. You have mentioned a few things that make me wonder about the machine shop you have referred to such as:

1. Hot tanking the block *before* determining if the bore is okay and honing or sleaving it.

2. Honing the bore before measuring it. (not to mention that an experienced engine builder can usually eyeball that type of defect and make a determination without measuring it.)

3. John Force having his machine work done there.

Some of these things don't add up.

I am not going to contact your machinist... just want to look them up on the internet. What is the name of the machine shop?

I'm not interested in a photo of a crankshaft.

I'm interested in knowing the name of the machine shop.

You have had a number of people (including me) spend significant time giving you assistance in one form or another, but you won't repay the favor? If you don't want to name the machine shop in public send me an e-mail. I won't tell anyone.

Your credibility is being questioned. I wonder if I have been had.

It has nothing to do with repaying a favor, if you want advice in troubleshooting problems with your house... I'll be happy to help you with that.

You're welcome to make assumptions about my credibility.

Jens this is going to be my last comment to you on the topic ->

-> The topic is dead !
