These in a rally tire would be amazing. No punctures, capable of immense side loading without coming off the bead, tire pressure always spot on. Wonder how long before these filter down to off-road truck tires and then rally tires.

Until you consider what happens when you get a bunch of rocks stuffed in there.

They are for government use so they're probably going to be like 500-1000 per tire.

I believe they will put a sidewall on them for production use, this is just to show the inner structure.

But yeah, they're going to be $$$

I agree that it would be fairly easy to put a sidewall on it.

Assuming that they don't ride like absolute ass, I can see them catching on all over.

Big Trucks for sure. Don't need to monitor tire pressure and can retread like a dream.

Now that WAY TOO many people don't know the first step in changing a tire, there would be a strong market as the ultimate run flat.

It's just a shame that most of our biggest breakthroughs are related to killing or not being killed by one another.. I guess that's life.

Don't forget that they say they can make them for basically the same cost.. so they might not be uber dollars.
