No, but I think I wil order some.

I just rewired the Lada before Pines... We have the follow in the center:

Cooling Fan
Fog Light
Master Driving lights (master control for hi, light bar lights)
Hi-Beams
Corner Light bar
Center Light Bar
Horn
Co-Driver light

Of to the side of the switch center bock is the switch for the computer probe 1 or 2.

The fogs and master lights are illuminated since we figured they would be the only ones we care about in the dark. We found they are too bright and need to sort it out.

I'm really interested in the breakers that plug into the fuse panel. They look a bit thick, though. Would they fit in a standard OEM fuse block, ya think?

steve gingras had switches for oil slick and deflector shield in his WRX. kids at parc expose got a kick out of it.

I'm trying to keep simple with the switches.
This winter I'm redoing the dash, but I'm not really changing a lot wit regards to the number of switches. Just replacing OE switches wit aftermarket stuff to align looks, and gain some space.

Original switches:
Lights
Hazard
Rear window demist
Fog lights (this is going out).

Then I have added:
Intercom
Lightbar
Fan override

Wipers, ignition etc., is handled through original stalks, etc.

I'm looking to simplify the loom too though, and preferably cut down on the number of fuses along with moving the fusebox (since I'd like to extend the rollbar to the strut towers).

i have a stock heater box in the car, I would never remove the stock stuff in a rally car myself. I just re-wired the system to eliminate extra components. No off, switch in center is low, down for medium, up for high. Xr has a really good box and duct system.

Sean - At the rate those heater cores fail in normal street cars (they have really brittle plastic ends) - I can't imagine the life span in a car going bumpity bump on a gravel road; it's really not that hard to put something that might be a bit more reliable. I'm sure others with far more experience then I could suggest something.

I'm planning to start on my chassis harness this weekend. First I'm going to take the stock harness and lay it out, remove everything unneeded, and then board it.
From there, I'll know what I need for new connectors for ones that need replaced.
Then I'm going to follow Sean's route and wire the chassis harness.
Once everything is in, I'm going to remove the new harness and board it so I can replicate it on the board for others.
Anyone have a preferred source for wiring components. I used to get catalogs from Waytek but not anymore.

Yeah, NEW and can get LOTS MORE, way cheaper than the vendors who do it on the side.

I kept things simple, all my switches were the marine breaker type so both a switch and a fuse.

Run (Ignition)
Fuel Pump
Power Steering Pump
Rally Lights
Acc. (Intercom, radio, map light)
Start (push button, momentary contact)

Here's a picture of ours...

Rally Lights, Starter, Hazards, Heater Fan control, "Aux" - rally computer, camera, etce etc, Windows, Horn, kill, and mirror control. We eliminated door panels and the entire stock center console so we had to re-create some of the stock stuff. We elected to keep a few luxury items (power windows and mirrors) even though we could save some weight and simplify by gutting those...

As far as organization- the stuff at the top (rally lights and fan switch, and maybe starter) are at the top and kind of separated because they are most likely to be needed by the driver quickly (and maybe without looking). The lower stuff or more to the center is less likely needed on stage. Horn button is closest to navi.

I'm happy with this setup, but my original goal was to keep it a little simpler and lighter. I also wanted it as low as possible - like right on the tunnel - but it was less work to do it this way.

What does the "Petter" function do?

Obviously, we haven't engaged "Petter" mode yet.

ps. That's actually the fan speed switch. Or the automatic seat adjustment switch...

I can also mention that there's a fuse panel just to the right of and behind the switch plate- Super easy access to the co-driver (like right by his left shin). No fancy breakers- would have been nice, but I didn't take the time to find those.

Hey thanks for the picture, Doug. That's solid.

I thought that looked like a fan control, but with "Petter" on it, wondered if it might be a boost controller.
