No, unfortunately. Not sure what caused it, Just started having issues walking and started having some pretty bad fevers and shakes.

Okay Gents... Im healing up and getting back into it. Havent pulled a paycheck in a bit, and still waiting for the Disability to kick in for the gap so I had to keep the work cheap.

So, I decided to keep on with the wiring in the dash. It was pretty daunting as I havent gotten into that deep in the wiring in a car yet, so I took it slow and used a lot of zipties as I removed the tape. I want to remove the useless stuff to make it easier to move the fuse block out of the driver footwell

Also The OMP steering hub arrived for the wheel I scored off of Rally Anarchy (Thanks Dan/Shiza!)
So i put that on.

I really like the wheel, its so much smaller then the old Volvo one. It feels much better and even though it sticks slightly farther into the cabin, it makes it easier to get into the car. I think the hub is for an older Volvo, as the horn contact is in the wrong spot. I think ive read somewhere you can swap on the earlier parts, and as you can see from the pic, i need a new turn signal stalk anyhow.

Got a rallycross even coming on the 15th, so pretty excited to see how the car does. Since the last one I welded the diff, removed the sound deadening, removed much more interior and put the wheel on. Ive had second thoughts about the welded diff... I hope it doesnt hurt rather then help.

Okay, Done rambling.

Good luck at the rallyX. I was going to try to make it but won't be able to. I'd like to see how the car is coming along.

I'll probably hit one of the summer races so maybe I'll see you then.

Tim.

Hahaha, Nah, Im a mechanic. If I were a pilot I'd be picking a completed subaru from some builder, rather then trying to get as much of the free stuff out of the way right now, because its all i can afford drinking smiley

And here I thought you were going to make a crack about my putting a nice wheel in some pos...

wouldn't it be better to do suspension first to tie the cage into?
