Probably not the easiest way to hang the driveshaft center bearing, but it made sense at the time ("the time" involved lots of stand and stare with Sobieski, Red Bull, and American Spirits in play. Better living through chemistry!)
Now the shifter and driveshaft work harmoniously with the rest of the vehicle. And it drives the rear wheels! As soon as I put in the halfshafts, anyway... which comes before making the exhaust but after making the rear strut towers, but somehow I have to do them in the other order. Stressing over making strut towers right now. I expect this car to be able to hit things sideways or land from six feet up and not collapse.
The Mini inner fender and such is made out of like 26 gauge tinfoil. It's gonna be tied into the cage but I don't quite trust that enough.
