Oh no, just bought another pile of steel and about to order the 4130 DOM for more lower tubes...Seems some cars need longer tubes in the rear....and some long fawkers in the front also.

We now have, thanks to AJ, a good donor that has enough body length on the part to get us about 110mm overlap and 210mm travel...That makes me all warm inside...

Hmm - 110 overlap, +210 travel, plus ~100 for bump stop - are we talking tube length in the vicinity of 16.5"?

What's the valving like on these inserts?

I've got another bit of plastic to remake it now that I know how the plastic bends. But there is a sick part of me that wants to place a "BANG HEAD HERE" sticker below the indent in front of the co-driver.
