Hey John,

The reason I'm asking is, the cam is worn on that extra motor that came with my second car. I'm taking it for machining and trying to get a parts list. I figure if I'm replacing it anyway, maybe there's a better one to toss in while I'm at it. And for the numbers on the RR cam, I noticed that also. I thought someone mentioned 420 lift?

OK but acording to my parts catalogues for engine rebuilding the normal mid 80s injection cam is the same as the turbo cam, so you could snag a normal injected cam for cheap.
Somebody may have mentioned 420 lift and yest the roller design can allow more agressive opening rates, but the more important question is: do you need it at all?
Stock intercooled T-coupe with PE ecu had 195 or 205 bhp and 235 ft/lbs with stock exhaust.
Stomp on the gas full and hold it and it ought to be enough.

Soooo...what spring rates are we looking for on our engines? Someone mentioned a higher rated spring, but I haven't seen any more specific info that that.

Cheers! John
