Got the underbody protection mounts done on the passenger side today. Hoping to finish all of them tomorrow.

They also incorporate a jack point, front and rear.

Yep. Kevlar. Rediculously light, and strong.

Nope. Happened to be in the right place at the right time. Derik was moving out of his house, and into a condo. That skid plate was sitting on the side of his house. I trimmed the front of it, and removed the sides where it wrapped up. I guess it was some $5,000 part from england.... Autoclaved 10 layer kevlar thing. Weighs the same as a gallon of milk I am guessing, attaches with 4 bolts. Score!!

ACP had one of those on his EVO. One guy job on the ground to install it, stupid light. They grow whiskers after a few miles of gravel pounding also. Another competitor had his Sube in a rotisserie and hand laid Kevlar under the whole body. Pretty neat stuff.

Friday I picked up the fabricated tube rear STA's from William at TSS, man they look great. Prepped the garage Saturday between dad duties so I could attack the car today.

Today I figured out the arm travel, shock travel, and made the shock mounts on the arms. I also finished the rear pin jack tubes.

What would a setup like that cost with the beam and trailing arms? Is the rear beam at an improved angle or still the stock 18º?

Cage start looks good. A-pillar bar is not so far forward that it's a pain or nearly impossible to get doors on and off like mine is.

Same 18 degree angle on the rear STAs.
