Looking to finally do an xratty
January 22, 2007 07:14PM
Ok I know that I can get most things from John but what exactly is needed on the xr4ti to make it rally ready.

I plan on getting the following from John

Suspension
Brakes

What else should I be on the lookout for?

I will shortly have all the DOM needed for the cage. I looked through the Ford Motorsport guide you guys posted as well.

If I remember right I should keep an eye out for a Supra diff as well.

If anyone has a xr4ti specific list of what it takes to make it ready that would be great. Also a line on an extra shell somewhere in Colorado would be good to.

Thanks

Jeremy.
Call me. 720-231-5103. You have to come by this weekend and talk. I'll be working on the cage pretty much all weekend and most nights for the next two weeks.

Grant,

I'm out of town right now but will give you a call when I get back on Friday. I would definitely love to swing by.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Sorry I missed your message on Saturday. I got sick on Thursday and Friday and still felt like shit come Saturday so just laid around all day until work at 6. Then up to Wyoming for a funeral until last night. But now getting back to working on it so call again if your coming down. This time my phone won't be dead as I won't have spent the past two days in bed.

Have lots of stuff to work on, but no money to buy a few important things to get the car driveable. Like Lexan or a new windshield or steel for seat brackets. Maybe I'll go dig through Den Col's dumpster and see what I can find. smiling smiley

You should get in on the square rear beam fab we're doing with John, the stock one is weak as shit and the new GpA replica will fit the stupid cheap strong supra LSD in good ratios.
