FYI if you buy the one on rockauto, youre going to need the input shaft bearing retainer that mates to the camaro box.

Oh, why's that Ryan? I thought the pics you posted were from a Ford T5. Is the rockauto part different in some way?

Yeah its a ford t5. The camaro bearing retainer has mating surface in which the throw out bearing connects and is machined to center the bellhousing. I'll get some pics later.

Ok, that's where they made up the 3/4" difference then. Excellent!

that's pretty trippy Ryan. So the camaro boxes have a seperate input shaft retainer and front bearing retainer?

I'm hoping I won't need to play around with that. I'm going to install the fork this weekend and see how it goes.

The bearing is held by the that piece there. The race sits inside it. The TOB bolts to it.

Thats an engineering tape measure where they deal in 1/10s of a foot. Should have pointed that out.

3/4" anything works..
Hey Ryan what da fuque you blabbering about miserable Ford 2.3 SOCH pressureplates for over on the Turpidpricks. Yeah it's 228 but it has a dumb bolt patter with 3 groups of 2 bolts.. Nothing else is out there good, just the normal "paint it some clor but same diaphragm as always" junk..

You got a hard on for 228 on a flat Volvo flywheel with the same bolt circle??
I haz 'em on the shelf. just need three little 6mm holes for the dowels..

Didn't want to invade some thread and upset all the ex-spurts there...

Got about 400mi on the new setup. The super armored clutch fork is working great.

Added some out-riggers to the fork ends and a backing plate to the pivot point.

The KEP 228mm pressure plate is holding great with the full face disk @10psi of boost. I'm getting close to turning the wick up.

I'll try and give you a call tomorrow. Im still reeling after the last big bank account gang rape that is the "tuition" thing. Actually its illeeegal for the state of CA to charge tuition so I guess I should say fees?
I actually have a nice collection of pressure plates now. A SVO one that is 225(?)mm that was slightly softer than the centerforce.
Anticipate a call from one of the fine bay area yards.
I know if I call from school, I'll be too distracted by the scenery in our nice 70* weather weve been having to have any kind of meaningful conversation.
