He's just been waiting on you to send his new inserts I think? Scott's like me, he just waits and doesn't hassle. Though I should probably get in touch with William and find out what's up with rear arms and beam stuff...

Oh dear, is that what these extra ones are for?
I think I have to check email. He did ask about postage recently, and I have a feeling I haven't billed him for anything at all yet..
Oh dear.

Nope, you asked him to send some money for postage, but that has been about it.
Get on it! I just gave him a handful of bills Saturday for the last cage we finished, but who knows if he's blown it on hookers and guns yet! smiling smiley

Any guesses on when the 50s will be done? With this newfangled BMW I just picked up, I'm itching to go testing, but wondering if the 40s need to go back on the white car, or if straight to the red car. First race of the season for us in Colorado is April 20-21. Whadddya think?

Thanks!

This thread was only started on Dec 17th, so you have at least another 10-12 weeks.
Are you going to race the Pueblo hill climb?
I thought maybe we'd try to get a little testing in on the 21st in the Chumpcar BMW. Probably out at CORE since it's cheap, just take it easy on the rough spots or just do 100 laps on the oval. smiling smiley

Probably will run PMI, might run both cars if Allison wants to...too soon to get it prepped and find a renter I think. Not sure CORE is of any value for testing the BMW chump car, unless you're testing it for Temple Canyon. Tough thing is most road race tracks charge by the driver not the car, so doing any multi-person testing is going to be spendy.

Depends on what you are testing. Testing ideal setup of alignment or tires or etc. Yeah, CORE not so useful. Testing if the engine is working okay, ABS/traction control is disabled, how is clutch shape, gearbox, etc. can all easily be done at CORE and it's MUCH cheaper than a track day.

Hey John I sent you some stuff I found at the junkyard, and no it isn't the pile of human shit I nearly stepped in whilst there.

Surely the box needed a bit of packing to keep the stuff from "jostling around" a bit....

Oh so sad... I'll post a piccie up but there are some Bilsteins, I believe produce in conjuction with Delco or sumpin that have a series of crimps around the body to hold them together rather than a circlip at the top...
these that just arrived have the crimps..
Ill post a piccie up and in future we have to lift the boot up and check for the crimps..
So sad..

Bueller?

Bueller has been sicker than a dog for the last 8-9 days.. Poor thing.. Snot, aches, weak, dizzy, coughing...
Probably going to die soon.

Get well soon! I was under the impression guts were off to bilstein to get re-valved and you were having to play the waiting game. Was just curious if they'd given you any updates on when they'd get em done.

Gave the 40s a thorough beating on a desert racing "hillclimb" course over the weekend. Best part was at the end when a guy in a focus came up and said he didn't feel too bad because at least he got beat by a Group 5 car...I just shook my head and gave him the bad news. grinning smiley
