Yes....doesn't anyone use or remember the old Gunk concentrate? You mix/mixed it with kerosene, something like 3 parts kero with one part of concentrate......diesel and kerosene are so close, I suppose it hardly makes a difference.

YES on the rifle bore brushes, John. You are so correct...the junk you will get out makes it well worth the effort. It won't all come out with just washing pressure or hot tanking.

Diesel, paint it any color you want, as long as it is not the color of any of the fluids used under the hood.
