Since when is this the case? I always thought just the bendy bits (main hoop, half laterals, windshield bar) needed to be 1.75" for RA if you weren't using CDS. All the straight bits could be 1.5". Certainly that's how I've been building cages and they always get accepted.

Correct...the backstays can be 1.5...had an old guy moment. Got so excited remembering something accurately from the early days I forgot the current specs for a moment...
