I'm sure this has already been asked but can someone clarify this for me?

Is the 34mm section of the restrictor measured at 50mm from the blades of the impeller or the end of the shaft that the impeller rides on?

"The restrictor shall be placed within 50mm of the rotating section (impeller assembly) of the pressurizing unit"

I say yes, machinist disagrees! I think it's the definition of impeller assembly that is causing the issue here.
