what breaks the Ring and Pinons too much torque combined with rough shifting?

You have to keep in mind Pat Richard has always been harder on transmissions than the average driver. Plenty of drivers can make a 2.5RS or WRX 5 speed last a whole season.

The 4.44 is more prone to breakage due to the size of the teeth and the tooth count.
