well after engine #2 canned it (came to be bad) and having a week to move 1000 miles, i had to make a choice. and frankly the older one had the scariest cage ever, which also touched my head, before i put a helmet on. Couple that with a severly fatigued shell, i just parted the car out. Would be more effective to get another car that is safer than tow the old one anywhere.

So will another miata engine find its way into this one or will you stick with the spinning triangles?

One day NASA will get smart and ban two-stroke cars as well as bikes.

Yeah those guys with all those crutches complain so much they gotta do something.. they try all those extraneous junk that aren't needed like cams---some people even use 2 or more cams, and valves, lotsa valves and rockers and followers and turbos and Eee See Yous and their desparate attempts to beat the mighty 850 Saab. Kinda pitiful if you ax me.

(Oh what fun it would be to do a "clean sheet of paper" build with say late 70s 2 stroke knowledge.....it would be pisser!! Make it into a whopping 940cc!
They'd be sniveling then!)

well its technically a 4 stroke that prefers the oil consumption of the 2 stroke. or something like that.

but yes, it will be rotary. Pretty has to be Group 5 since the rules for the rotary under Rally America indict i literally can not touch the engine. has to be stock including the carb or efi method. Because stupid ass restrictions for no real reasons.

so im considering a peripheral port, bridge port, or remain in Group 2 with a 13b renesis from the Rx-8
