I just got my car back from Dave and I've got to say the work that he did is remarkable.

Yes there is no X in the main hoop but its not getting a RA logbook winking smiley

It finally feels like I'm making progress - now its time for the real fun, assembly

But don't worry, Dave knows how to lay a bead and knows what weld penetration is.

What series did you build the cage for with the low V? And also what type of car is it?

It's a Golf.
Built to the logbook.

Everybody accepts everybody else's logbooks so build it to the spec most accomodating.

We can hope that more PNW organisers decide that NASA is the Organisation that seems to concentrate on the type of event we all like: Low key, high fun, low(est possible) price

And if anyone gives you shit about the cage I happen to have enginereed the cage that Dave built into my golf and since yours is the same I have the data to prove it meets the performance option of the rule book if you need it.

I tested the design at Doo Wops 2006 and it appeard to work fine, we landed on the wheels and kept going.
