Looks like you are not getting any love in this thread. Unfortunately I failed to upload any photos.

In short make sure the codriver can easily reach:

rally computer (without impaling themselves in a crash)
pen/pencil stash
route/notes book stash (now that we use both you need somewhere to stash the one you are not using)
reading light
water bottle

Can also reach:
- headset plugins and controls
- fire extinguisher
- kill switch
- seat belt cutter (need to get one of these)

Try to make sure he can't reach the hand brake :-)

That are actually able to be gotten to if the door is closed and that the codriver can actually get out of the car.

When we went off ot OT in 06 my side was pinned against some heavy PNW brambles. Door couldn't open. Spent a minute inside the car trying to push the door open and trying to get the triangle out. Finally said fuck it and jumped out the window because I didn't want to be sitting in the car on the side of a big hill, hanging halfway off the edge, and have the next car follow our line. Naturally, I grabbed the stage notes that don't have the OK and left the route book that had the OK. Ran back to swap and managed to get the door open a bit, but couldn't get the triangle still because it was too tightly and firmly attached to the roll cage.
