1991 LeggoSee WayGone
September 26, 2012 02:39PM
For a friend of mine

FOR SALE - Blue 1991 Subaru Legacy L model wagon with coveted AWD drivetrain.
This omni functional vehicle is the swiss-army knife of used cars.It is faster than a lifted Toyota, better off-road than a Honda, and old enough to be driven in the snow without fear.
The automatic transmission allows for effortless progress under all circumstances, and several clever security features like rough paint and a driver's door only operable from the inside will protect you from would-be carjackers if the mighty 2.2 Liter boxer engine is somehow not enough.
Automatic front seatbelts will amaze and delight your friends, and the folding rear seat will either accomodate three people or double your cargo area depending on personal preference or the desire to car camp.
Handy storage locations for all your random stuff abound in this paragon of auotomotive versatility, with a locking glove box, cargo compartment tow strap lockers (so you can help your friends with Hondas in the winter) and a tray over the spare tire that will handily accomodate the component containers inside an MRE ration pack.
Please respond by e-mail if you wish to view this MacGyver on four wheels in person. While judicious bargaining is expected and welcomed those found bringing offers of puny sums and "trades" to the negotiating table will be summarily ejected from consideration.

Yeah, that guy has no $$ with which to build a rally car. He does however try to do his part to enable others to embrace rallying.

Is George ever going to rally again? He's talked about it.

As far as I know George still has my old '77 Colt. Hoping to see him at 100 Acre next year.

Yes Brent, the Colt sits patiently under cover in the corner of the shop, waiting for my work commitments to ease.

100 Acre is probably too soon considering my limited time, budget, etc. Magnum Opus in April is the target.

I'll get some pictures taken and sent your way.
