Preorder available for Bell 2015 Rally Helmets

The Bell Mag 1 Rally open face expected to ship in January and The Bell GT5-Rally expected to ship in December are now available for preorder on our website.
Both have integrated Peltor and Hans posts. The GT5 is full face with integrated ear cups for external noise cancelling and noise attenuation microphone.

Oh hell yes. I've been waiting for another company to make a proper full-face rally helmet (Sparco and Stilo ones don't fit my noggin very well, and Bell does).

Do you know if it has the option of a visor shield? I think it is Chump Car that requires a full face helmet (with visor) but doesn't require that you actually have the visor on it. Dumb rule, probably has changed since last I checked.

I wonder how long before we see the Bell Pro Star technology in car racing helmets.... THe moto helmets should be here soon.

I should note that these have been delayed on shipping dates due to "unknown reasons from the manufacturer" as of right now.
The Bell visor should be able to be used. I'll let you know once I have my hands on a helmet! I have the regular full face so can compare them easily enough.

It is also unclear if there will be any other Peltor compatible helmets in SA2015 flavor. Sparco hasn't released any info on what they are going to offer for SA2015. Peltor is rumored to be done as well in the helmet business and sticking to the electronics side of the intercom. Or at least not being imported to USA anymore, haven't had time to dig further.

My guess on the new tech you are talking about, assuming you mean in the DOT helmets with the new five layer system and new energy absorption materials instead of styrofoam are not likely within next five years. They'll need to get the allowed into the standard first and observational results from DOT use will help there.

In regards to the shield compatibility; so far as I can tell the GT5 touring, offered through safe racer, is the same helmet as what grant is offering with the exception of the intercom. Touring comes with both the peak visor and clear shield.
