More like 17% on race suits. 16.7 more accurately. Unless they don't.
I am closest to their price and you get a domestic return policy. Contact me direct at grant@rally.build for quotes. Or just order through Demon Tweeks and thank the strong US dollar and cheap fuel, unless you work in energy sector.

Seriously. The company I work for just laid off about 200 people, and they'll have closed 2 manufacturing facilities in Portland by the end of next year. It's definitely making me update my resume and keeping a watchful eye on what's happening.

Size 58 is a Euro Size.
At the top of http://www.rm-autosports.com/suit/ is an Alpinestar size chart.
Basically:
Chest: 44-7/8" to 46-1/2"
Waist: 39-1/4 to 41"
Hip: 45-1/4" to 46-7/8"
Thigh: 26" to 26-3/8"
Inseam: 35" to 35-3/8"
Outer Arm: 26-3/8" to 26-3/4"
Height: 6'3" to 6'5"
Remember, this is not casualwear. You want a somewhat loose. Don't choose on waist and inseam like a pair of jeans.
Also have a size 56 on clearance: http://www.rm-autosports.com/alpinestars-sp-suit-black-size-56-clearance/

Wish it would fit... i'm 6'4" but with only a 33 inch inseam so my torso is too long for a size 58. I'm heading for a size 62.

I have a 62 at nearly 6'4" but 180lbs and 32" waist. Added extra velcro to the belt to pull it all tight. Someday, I will have $1500 for a nice custom suit with boot cuffs and long sleeves and embroidery :-)

I got a used suit from here for cheap. I am actually same size as you guys 6'-4" 170lbs 32 waist. Just size yourself up and look around. You get a top of the line suit that some other guy sweated in a few times... then you start rally with sponsors automatically smiling smiley

My 2 cents:

I recommend a 60 given your weight and height.

I am 6'2" and 185 lbs and have a 60 but the midsection is VERY roomy. If you're more slight than I, and have a similar inseam Id say go for the 60 or even the 58 Seeing as you're probably more slight than I am, and still have monkey arms like me, just get the 60 or a 58 and accept the sleeves being a tad short (covered by gloves anyways).

Of course all makes are a little different.

On anything?!

I'm probably going to be putting in a big order soon for a bunch of gear I need. Even with shipping and duties, it's way below anything stateside right now. I'll be saving almost $500 on the seat and harnesses alone!

Okay, so here's how the world works. Let's use a Sparco ProADV seat as an example.
Demon Tweeks buys product from Sparco Italy and sells it to anyone.

In the USA, Sparco USA buys the product from Sparco Italy.
Sparco USA sells the seat to distributors that must purchase a minimum, usually like 20-50k per year. Let's make up a distributor, SparcoSupply USA.
SparcoSupply is wholesale only so they sell to the small shops like mine. I then list the product for sale, SparcoSupply will even offer to drop ship it direct to my customers so I don't have to bother with having inventory. In fact, all I have to do to get a dealer account with SS USA is having a sales tax license, pretty easy in most states.
So, Sparco Italy, Sparco USA, SparcoSupplyUSA, and my shop are all trying to profit off the one seat that you are buying. Sometimes SparcoSupplyUSA also has a retail division that sells direct to customers. Often they will list things for less than the wholesale price just to drive traffic and sales to their site since more revenue, even if it's little to no margin adds to their buying power. Some products I actually BUY from their retail site because it's the cheapest place and I sell it for the same amount just so I can have them available. (See Hans backing nuts from Speedway).

This exact system is why shops that try to retail product to rallyists never last more than a few years. We are trying to survive by making things.

If you browse around Rally.Build you will probably notice that most of my prices are quite competitive with Demon Tweeks once you factor in the shipping and customs duties. We don't have everything we can sell listed, just the most popular items. Anyone is welcome to message me with requests. Any price difference gets you a stateside return policy if nothing else. smiling smiley

Don't forget the currency exchange rate fee that will most likely appear on your credit card also.
