Before my time. I learned to drive stick on my fathers Saab 99 rally tribute clone. But I know more than a few of you love these things.

No affiliation.

Well now I know where "SAAB" came from.

"Talk about drugs. Driving a car like that, going that fast, it’s like all the drugs at once." - Tommy Byrne

"Now, Pinky, if by any chance you are captured during this mission, remember you are Gunther Heindriksen from Appenzell. You moved to Grindelwald to drive the cog train to Murren. Can you repeat that?" - The Brain

The old logo din't give you a big hint?

That came from:

I knew about that "born from jets" deal and the Viggen, and in fact, I read the SAAB book that my monster-in-law got when she purchased her 900, but it never clicked. Maybe because I always saw it written Saab, and not SAAB, like JVAB.

I get to be WVAG, kind of like VWAG, but handsomer and smarter.

Only 8 hours left, and still only at $4,000. Still seems like a killer deal.

Better car than a 99, that thing weighs under 1950lbs and alternate final driver is not easy but do-able, gearsets are out there--about 1000 to 1 over 99s.
Engine is dead easy to make 130 hp, and easy but 'spensive to make 155-165...

light car, 5.43 final drive and 145-165 hp...They go.
