The point was that the 96 was a lot better base platform for him to start with than a 99 or 900. And this one is in beautiful shape.
Better to have a useless post, than to be useless. The only thing you are good for, is for moving target practice. Thankfully, with that gimpy legged gait, its slow movement.

You moron just try and talk about things you know, and that means say nothing about cars because in that world, you have shown yourself to be a complete and total fool..

Better yet just shut the fuck up.

Maybe tell us about prison life.

Who has the caged 99 stuff? Mike White up in Maine? Or That guy Geoff in in wtf is it Grafton?

I am in regular contact with maybe one of the remaining 99 pervs active in Historic class in Sweden so that can be some possible help---although I am send him parts like pistons and rods and I just made some 8620 Cr-Mo steel camshaft cores for a 99 16v project and have to mail those But if anybody can say things like "do the motor mounts" the way the works cars did--not fucking hockey pucks--- or "how much can you really carve off the heads for more comp" and sourcing a "fun-er-er" cams he's for sure the guy now..(all the saab 99 n.a. stuff in Merikuh is too too lame, it would barely be considered "fast road car" stuff over there.)
He's old friends with the guy who made all of Saab and Volvo's aftermarket rally exhaust systems--who I imported that guys "Sport" exhaust systems for 20 years..He said once "You kept 044-K (V4) set in production for an extra 20 years"
(And that guy, my old friend is doing a Historic Escort MkII..so now the stuff goes back that way--did piston and rods for that one a couple of years ago...

Good sensible guys, definitely not to be nonchalant about guys who have been doing stuff since the mid 70s

Some dude in Southern Cauliflorinear.

Blanco cut up his 99 more than a decade ago after we made it boat-shaped at Tall Pines 2003.

Geoff Clark still has his car I believe, but he's fallen off my radar, as has his often partner-in-crime.
