New Rallyist: WTB wide used rally seat, vw ring and pinion

Looking for a few things for my soon to be rally car:

A wide rally seat (I am 6'2" and pushing 300lbs/44 inch waist

Also a short ratio ring and pinion for a VW 020 trans. I think it has 3.67 and I need much tighter than that. Or a trans loaded with it and a LSD already.

How about a FP suit also? any recommendations?

Frank; I just bought an OMP WRC-R XL for my car. 5'10", 270 lbs, with a 40" waist. Fits great, and would easily be comfortable with a 44" waist. It's on the pricey side, but man is it a high class piece of kit. Bought a TRS for the navigators side, as my co-driver is a lot skinnier, and I needed to off-balance the cost of the WRC. Honestly, I wasn't able to find any other manufacturer that made an XL sized seat that fit me well with the 40" waist. Few and far between are the options. It helped when I had to pull the trigger that VW MotorSport uses OMP in the Polos, LOL.

Haha nice! It's a little out of my price range but maybe my range needs adjustment. I was considering the OMP TRS xl but folks say its not comfy at all.

The TRS does not have nearly the padding in the seat back or the bolsters that the WRC does. For RallyCross, I would not mind the TRS for drivers side, but for stage Rally, the WRC is definitely the one to have. Sparco makes a couple of XL sized seats at a better price range, but again the padding and bolstering is not the greatest.
