best idea yet....especially since it runs and drives straight....I just took the doors, fenders, hatch and hood off.....other than the roof replacement there isn't a TON of work to be done.

Ah crap don't just cut it up. If no one want's it Tom, I'll take it and put it back together. I've got the skills to do the bodywork - although it would be my first roof swap...

Dave clark has an old Hornet car sitting outside his shop too. From what he described, it sounded like a gas.

I've got a well abused OBDI 2.0 you can have - more than enough to get you around monroe

Solon... shit; I'm still only in Solon... Every time I think I'm gonna wake up back in the Rally Car. When I was home after my first rally, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the Rally Car. I'm here a month now... waiting for a Rally... getting softer; every minute I stay in this office, I get weaker, and every minute Subaru squats in the bush, he gets stronger. Each time I looked around, the walls moved in a little tighter.
Well... get to it man.
Cut the roof off, Weld a new roof on.

Tom you are a Seattle area guy; no?

Make it a HOrnetkar and go laugh yourself silly with it.

Entry fee is $25.00 or some such for the little events. Enduros are $120 or somthing.

I laughed myself to tears my first event.

You will enjoy it and need not make the car pretty. Just bash out the big dents and GO.

2250 lbs. Small wonder I have such trouble keeping with you guys. The Volvo is 3025 lbs.

Tom,

I would be willing to buy most of your parts but I just don't need another shell in my driveway! Can we do some sort of deal?
