I have spent 20K "Refreshing" and upgrading this car over the winter.

It is essentially all new parts and built to my impossibly high standards.

Very flexible on price, delivery, payment plans, partial trades or part out.

The stuff you get with this car is disgusting.

Out of curiosity, what did you run suspension wise for the rallies before you got Vanlandingham's stuff?

EDITED for clarity.

DMS then Hot-Bits. I've also tried Proflex and RS&SP. For many reasons I like the JVAB stuff the best.

Ah, thanks. What did you think of proflex? I've seen it a lot on Australian forums.

DMS, Proflex and RS&SP are all great. The problem lies in the absolutely un-affordable rebuilds/wait time and availability. Also the adjustability of suspension for us is clearly not needed when essentially all our rallies are on gravel on very much the same roads. On BOTH gravel and snow JVAB stuff is valved very very nicely. Also Johns stuff just took an overall win on Tarmac.

I can't afford to PROPERLY maintain and replace the shocks listed and neither can you. Kinda makes it easy don't ya think.

Oh, I have the JVAB setup. I was just curious about the proflex, as I havent heard much about it here. Mainly DMS, JVAB, Hot bits, RS SP and maybe one other. I'm not sure if anyone runs Ohlins over here either. They seem popular in europe.

Nice looking car, btw.

There's some Proflex on Wyeth's car that's sitting in Checkpoint's shop.
At the sharpest end it might be important to have the best suspension. But at the sharpest end you don't really sweat spending a few thou to maintain them.

Can't figure out how to edit the post right now, doh.

Price is firm at $20K Canadian and worth every penny. If anyone can find a similar car with equal specs and condition for less, please point it out to me.

I'd hate to see a very nice, ready to go car parted out.

I'ts always for rent. People usually cannot understand the costs. Drum of fuel $700, 12 tires/mounting $2500-3000, towing, 3 professional crew. etc etc etc. It'd be around $5000 for a National event.

If the car was still listed at $28000 I'd take $18000 plus your car but at this point I need 20k out of the car just to pay off debt.

As seen at dead DC rallyX 2 weeks ago.

Ironic that I could be codriving Amor's car w/ JVL suspension.

Small world in that a streetcar belonging to the new owner was at my shop a year ago and I never knew he had rallied.
