I need to get rid of some of my addiction, some cool, some not so cool.

Well here is a bunch of stuff I wouldn't mind getting rid of just to get room. I have a sapphire cossy shell built at Ford motorsport back in the early 90's, it ran at the network Q rally and was owned by John Davenport (monte winner as a codriver back I believe with Vic Elford I think it was 64) This is the real deal but it will be just a shell, the car is a lightweight but not the prettiest but the cage is really cool and it is a proper group-a shell except for the engine mounts which I took off for my next escort. The next is a Audi S2, no this is not done but is fairly close but I have no motivation to work on an Audi pig anymore. It has all the REAL body panels and no fiberglass garbage. A 3 b resides in the bay with most of the stuff hooked up , the wiring has to be finished plus a bunch of other small stuff. This one I would like $6500, if you have ever priced the parts, I mean original stuff not the aftermarket bits you know how rare and expensive it is. I also have a 1985 Maserati Biturbo E with 37k on it. What can I say, it's a biturbo, I'll even throw in a clear kilo of powdered sugar (to slide under the seat) to give you the real miami vice look. I am also selling a 1994 Dodge cummins turbo diesel 2500 4x4, I just bought another one that's a manual so this automatic one has to go. It has 214k and it is a work truck, not a pretty boulevard cruiser, you put horse-shit in this one and don't care. It has great power though and gets 14-15 mpg towing fully loaded., asking $4500. I think the last bits are two engine conversions. The first is a nissan autech wit a 6 speed out of a S15 silvia E and I have an extra 944 turbo motor conversion sitting around. The prices on those would be $5500 and $2500 and like everything else in this ad it's best offer.
I have been trying to post photo's in this ad but my mac really doesn't like it for some reason so e-mail me and I will get you what you want.

They met the requirements to stay, anything with fender flares stays, anything without goes. The renault might be up for sale after I get the motor done. I just dropped the clutch down at the machine shop and I am waiting for the arp rod bolts to show up so they can balance the whole thing. So after I get it installed with all the other parts it should be good or at least capable of around 280bhp even though I am shooting for 250bhp. So keep cruising the B-Hgwy you might get lucky and find a bunch of parts to build your own. Like the old saying goes "assholes and fiberglass for 400 yards".

Hmm - that Lancia qualifies as porn to me...

Chris - you gots any Audi rally stuff lying around? I've got a 3b in my 4k, still have to complete wiring and such - but who knows when it will all get done.

Even some 4x108 Ford/Audi stuff?

Thanks,

Vittorio -

Hey Vittorio,
No about the only stuff I can think of right now is a set of bbs 14's for a 4000q. Other then that all the rest of the bits are going into the Urq hillclimber that is projected to be built in the next two years. I have to use those kevlar doors on something! I do have a set of brand new AP's (4 pots) if you're interested but they will be a tad pricey. I did save a bunch of stuff but you'll have to come by and take a look if you want I will sort as what I want to let go. Oh, yes the lancia is a porn star, definitely, with a capital Double D!!!

I've currently got some Wilwoods for the fronts (although I may have farged one of the bodies up by chasing a thread with the wrong damn tap sad smiley ) - may have to buy a new body...but who knows, if the AP's aren't made out of gold...smiling smiley

When's a good time to give you a call? Drop by?

From the ad

"Lancia Delta Integrale HF - Fullerton, CA $12,500
First a short history on the Lancia Delta Integrale.

In 1988, Lancia gained 10 victories out of 11 rallies and the world title, won well before the end of the season. The Lancia Delta had won, ahead of every rival in every continent, demonstrating its unrivalled performance, reliability and durability. In all Lancia won the World Rally Championship six years in a row with the Delta Integrale. This car is the true forefather of every all wheel drive Subaru WRX and Mitsubishi Evo.

The turbocharged 2-litre Lancia 8v engine is a powerful, refined performer, generating 185bhp at 5500 rpm, it can take the car to a maximum speed of 137 mph and get it from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 6.5 seconds. Larger injectors provide higher power output and efficient exploitation of the fuel feed at high engine speeds. The response of a Garrett t3 turbocharger is immediate, thanks to the reduced inertia of the turbine. A highly efficient intercooler provides the driver with more power and greater reliability. The exuberant twin cam engine, however, retains commendable refinement, thanks to the inclusion of two counter-rotating balancer shafts, eliminating vibration to give superb smoothness. The engine can also run on unleaded fuel without modification.

Specs on this Lancia Delta Integrale HF- Full time all wheel drive, inter cooled Garrett T3 turbo, Weber fuel injection system. 5 speed syncromesh transmission, 185 hp. Engine is factory stock and has not been modified with only the exception of a free flow intake filter. Equivalent of 35,000 miles before engine rebuild. Approx 1500 miles on engine rebuild.

Engine was rebuilt which included new bearings, pistons, piston rings, valve guides, valve job, all internal gaskets, new timing belt and ancillary belts. Cost of this rebuild was $3500 and done by the previous owner in New York. Also has a new clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plate, exhaust gaskets, crankshaft speed sensor, engine water temp sensor, throttle opening sensor, rebuilt Marelli alternator, timing belt idler bearing and many other details which easily cost another $3000 and was done after I bought the car here in California.

This Integrale has a straight New York title listing it as a 1989 Lancia matching the VIN number on the car.

Bodywork- new PPG Anthracite grey urethane base (2 coats) with three coats of PPG clear. All Lancia and Integrale, etc. sill, B pillar, deck lid badges are new as are the full length side skirts all bought from England. Car was professionally primed/painted and the quality of the paint job is excellent. Windshield is also new. I have $3500 invested in the above.

Tires are brand new Yokohama ES100's and the car has had a four wheel alignment. Total cost of this is $650.

Interior-professionally recovered the seat upper/lower bolsters and seat backs with suede. Kept the original inserts. Only the front seats needed recovering. New headliner and turn stalks Approx $750 for all this.

$11,400 plus many hours have been invested just restoring this car and that doesn't include the price of the car before restoration. Total investment more than $12,500 that I am asking for the car. This Lancia has never been taken off road and mostly taken to car shows (Concorso Italiano where it was featured on the podium-pictured). You won't find another Integrale already in the States with a straight US title that has been restored. This car is exceptionally rare here and I prefer it go to someone who will take good care of it. I advise that you check the smog requirements for your state when considering this car.

Any questions please contact me.

Damn, wish I had the spare cash!

Hey Vittorio,
Just give me a call anytime, the best times are thursday through saturday mornings.
Hey Nick that is a very nice Delta, good luck in selling it! If I could get enough for mine I would sell it and grab yours but I know that wouldn't happen. Good luck though.
Cheers,
Chris

I was wondering why a rally guy would be selling it. I actually looked at the pictures and I wouldn't sell mine to get that. That one is an 8 valve where mine is a 16V. I think people should be thanking you though because they are so rare here it will give someone the opportunity to at least get one for the first years depreciate on a new crapbox audi or something like that. Go make him a scumbag offer and see what happens, what have you got to lose.
Later,
Chris

Yeah I've been looking at all sorts of international sites pricing up Integrale EVO 2's but they are rare. Not that I can afford anything right now.
I found this sexy little bitch in a showroom 120miles from my parents house in England -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lancia-Delta-Hatchback-2-0-INTEGRALE-4WD-LHD-HF-EVOLUTI_W0QQitemZ380157627285QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item5883290b95

As for the 8v here in Fullerton, I'd offer this dude my FWD 1.8 Impreza plus a few grand cash but I'm sure he'd tell me where to go!
Hey, now I have his Fotki info I can always contact him sometime down the line if I have the dough.

Now that's a cool delta. I haven't really driven mine so I can't say what a pleasure it is to drive. If the driving position and ergonomics are any indication it is looking good. When my parts eventually show up,I'll give you the test report. That report usually usually occurs when I meet Andrew, Ted, and Lisa at Harlow's and the spirited drive home shakes down the the chassis/engine and if I don't put it in the woods then it passes with flying colors. Later.
