Overview:
I own more cars that I have time for, so I’ve decided to sell the 2wd fleet and focus on finishing up some other projects (house, work, life etc). I’ve amassed a significant amount of Honda parts and would love to do a package deal for a Honda aficionado who’s looking for a virtually turn-key program that can support a multi year campaign. I purchased and built this car with the intent of running 2wd RallyCross and 2wd stage rally. The car competed in 2 RallyCross events and is currently being cleaned up and prepared for stage rally. Background: This started life as a Honda Challenge car and was raced at round #1 of the Global RallyCross series in March 2011. While in 2nd place with one lap to go, I “clipped†the wall and chassis was destroyed. A new shell was built and all of the parts transferred over. The car raced in round #3 of the Global RallyCross series and scored a 2nd place both days in SuperRally and RallyCross, only being beat by the Porsche 996 driven by a Swedish RallyCross Champion. Suspension: ProFlex 3-way adjustable gravel dampers, less than 50 miles on them Wicked tunning front LCA spherical bearings Hardrace front UCA camber kit with spherical bearings Rear spherical bearing toe adjuster Rear spherical bearing camber adjuster PCI spherical bearing trailing arm bushing DC2 rear OEM LCA’s OE civic SI front sway bar H&R 25mm front spacers Power Train: k20a3, with a fresh head Jackson Racing Supercharger with 3.8†pulley (8-9psi) 224hp and 191tq at the wheels on E85 (Dynapack) 6-speed transmission with 5.7 final drive and KAAZ diff HASPORT motor mounts RAXELS "road race" axels (not sure what’s in the car right now but there should be 2 OEM and 2 Raxels) AEM 30-6030 ECU – tuned on E85 by Bisi Moto DC sports header Custom Air Intake RSX TypeS shifter cables and box, custom mounted Lightweight flywheel Exedy clutch/pressure plate Brakes: Wilwood 11.75" brake setup (weighs 10lbs LESS per corner then the 10.1" integra set-up) Wilwood 'dynapro' 6 piston calipers 2 piece rotors with a custom hat, directional van rotors Cobalt friction brake pads (one new and one partial used set, plus a set of wilwood pads) new OEM reman integra rear calipers/disks Cobalt friction brake pads 1" NEW master cylinder Handbrake Custom brake lines with a Tilton Bias valve Interior: Custom dash, flocked and set up with slide latches for quick removal Omni power steering quick release w/ cheap wheel Fire bottle IO Port window net Custom mounts for the fire bottle, and battery (full sized battery) New wiring and switch set-up electric power steering (though I recommend switching to gear driven system) Spares: Front core support – Brand new Hood OEM steel Complete K20a3 long block (damaged oil pan) Complete K20a3 long block (minus intake manifold) K24 long block – from oil pan to valve cover, no accessories 5 Speed Tranny case with full gear set (disassembled), 4.7 final drive and factory limited slip Spare flywheel Spare doors - uncut Rear side glass Rear hatch tailgate – steel Rear hatch window – glass There are a lot more spares…just haven’t had the time to inventory all if it. The car is priced at $11,800 Other Honda parts for sale EP3 Civic shell # 1 - $1,475 Main Hoop and A-pillar bars are tacked into place - DYI guy can finish it off Clean title Had quarter panel damage on driver side. Used panel welded on but needs to have the body work finished up. Has stock suspension and is a “roller†EP3 Civic shell # 2 - $995 Salvage title – Front end accident Front frame rails need to be replaced – firewall forward Most of the interior is intact, minus the seats Doors, hatch and glass all good EP3 Civic shell # 2 - $795 Salvage title – Theft recovery Straight shell e.g. no accidents no doors |
