The frame is a lot like the Lotus Elan and Europa's from the 70's...

Back to the PRV's though - I have a question for John Lane or JVL...

What would it cost to have a duplicate of the motor in your rally car in all it's fire breathing glory?

Curiousity mostly - but having a road going version of the motor with about 80% of the power for longevety sake would be a joy... smiling smiley Course it'd have to be in a 505 so it would handle nice too... tongue sticking out smiley

The DeLorean has a steel backbone frame that is very much seventies-think.

Those cars that have lived in the salt-belt will have many fasteners that will not loosten but will break when you look at them funny.

I've got an excess of time in fiddling with them.

John they got a dome to make any compression. That big open chamber may be a big part of why the things respond so well to forced induction.

Bwahahahahaha.

Ah, just heard back. Apparently the engine runs fine but the car's got some electrical problem. The only reason he's looking at new engines is because of the gutlessness.

With forced induction the V-6 gets very exciting indeed. With more then five pounds of boost; replacement of the complete drivetrain aft of the engine is very strongly advised.

Rabin I will be building one before long here and will track costs to do so.

Question of course is just how fancy you wish to be...
Pistons and Rods are required for forced induction. I have them on the shelf in 92mm and 93mm flavor.

If you are wanting the fancy cross-bolted block with the oil cooler we start with the Volvo B-280.

I'm interested in seeing the Frog version of the even-firing V-6. Cross-bolted mains? Mechanical or hydraulic lash adjusters? If mechanical; steel or aluminum alloy rocker arms? I also forget what the throttle body looks like in the Frog version of this motor.

How much fun do you wanna have?

Send me a P/M.
