Still have these kicking around in the barn in Nude Hamster. Left over from my dad's 323 GTX autocross car...he had bought a spare engine and parted a 323 GT parts car, so I have the engine and 2wd trans. Drove the GT right up to where I pulled the engine, ran great 6 years ago.

We'd love to get these out of the barn, how about $150 for the bare engine and $300 for the engine and 2wd transmission? Delivery possible in New England for help with fuel costs. Make offer, operators standing by!

Here's two pictures.

Bumping NASIOC style.

Still have these, only seem to get occasional bites from people either in Nigeria with $30 million cashier's checks they'd like me to cash the balance from or people 1,000+ miles away who don't want to pay shipping.

$200 for the pile would make my day.

Andrew,

The B6t rods will prolly bring more money than the whole block will, I'm sorry to say.

They're the beefy-ier ones.

Raise your prices back up and post pics and try selling them here : http://www.mazda323performance.com/forums.php

wish you lots of luck.

Andrew,
I'd like the stuff if we can find someone heading this way for Olympus or Oregon Trail. Probably too late for Olympus though. Moro is leaving his car here for the time between but he may be on the road already, same with ACP.

Hmmm...need somebody in New England. Moro's in Ohio, I think, and I don't know where ACP's car is getting worked on nowadays.

Which leaves Libra and SRTUSA, unless somebody can get Bill Bacon or John Cassidy to make the run out west. And the next couple days are lousy for me to do anything involving moving engines, so it would take a miracle to get them on anything headed to Olympus. Too bad Iorio got out of the game, he's 20 minutes away from me.

Hey JV and Graham! Anybody making a run out west soon? I might be coming out there in December, but if I do, it would probably be flying the whole family out.

If you're just looking for engine bits, I could disassemble what you need.

Does anybody know if the 323 GT 2wd transmission is any different from that in a garden variety 323? If not, then I should just scrap it.

The 323 GT trans is different.

If you have that and axles/spindles 323 guys will want it for their turbo swap.

Cool, thanks for the info! I need to drag those bits out of the parents' barn in the next couple weeks.

You might also want to advertise in a Festiva forum if such a thing exists...

Guy in Regina built one and it was pretty outrageous.
