*** '89 stock XR4Ti $1650 ****

Hey guys,

Just checking to see if anyone is interested.

Got the car originally to go rally, then changed my mind to do track.... now i cant do either .

Somethings come up and my XR project car might not happen . I just bought this car over the summer from a fellow Merkursport member.

Heres the bad:
The interior is out of the car right now , but i can easily put it back in.
Some rock chips , but nothing serious for a almost 20yr old car.
There was a coolant problem, but I've got that all figured out now. [Fixed/cleaned radiator, new thermostat, etc]
Only thing the car needs is a exhaust, which ive got 75% of the parts for.


Ok so that was the semi bad heres the good rundown of the car.

Interior is a 9 out of 10
-LA3 mustang computer
- large vam
-T3/T4 turbo
-FMIC w/ 2.5 inch piping
-Turbo XS blow off
-Roller Cam
-Ported exhaust manifold
-Gutted and knife edged intake plentum
-Turbo Timer, Oil Pressure, Boost Gauge
-Slightly lowered
also have PBR mustang front brake upgrade included (not installed)
Spare set of wheels
Spare block
Spare Front and rear end
owners manuel
Sport seats
and more....

Asking $1650 for everything.

i would be interested if i had more money and you were closer.

i think your price is pretty fair. i just cant buy a toy car right now.

anyone else looking for a good starter rally car ?

I already have three XR4s and none of them run!

I'm hoping that I can get a storage shed built this week so all the crap taking up 1.5 bays of my garage can live out there and I can drag the black car in and put a turbo on it, fix the rust, exhaust and another 23 things I can't think of at the moment and get it running. Build one and make it fully functional, then drag the other shells out and see about making something for gravel fun.

Yours does look nice. BUILD IT! Or just drive it, much more interesting than most things out there that cost 10 times as much.

I dont have the time, and there arnt enough events in the area.
I really want to get into rally, but it just isnt the easiest thing to do.

I'll give it another shot in a few years.
