Merry Xmas from Travis Pastrana
December 26, 2007 10:09AM
In Travis Pastrana's new video, "ThrillBillies Nitro Circus 5", in the credits at the end there are a bunch of thank-yous including this one:

"Andy Pinker... Your uncle / team manager is a dick and you should thank him for my motivation to beat you every weekend in rally. If he makes one more excuse or tells the press that our team is a bunch of cheating bastards one more time I swear that I will slap him upside the head harder than Mike Tyson."

Whenever I publicly threaten people, the sanctioning organization starts threaening me. I wonder how it works for the gifted at the top of the start list?

Eli,
You cared enough to reply.
Do you solve your problems by threatening to assault people?
Happy Holidays!

Words are easily taken out of context, I can attest to that.

Sarcasm can be taken out of context too.

Besides if he has a slap or punch like Mike Tyson, I doubt he be rallying.

Seems like sarcasm to me.

I'm gonna drink some tequila shots and get real sarcastic with my shotgun, I reckon, hmmm.

Who is Andy Pinker's uncle? Is he a sarcastic "dick", a real "dick" or not so much?

I'm betting you don't really wonder. *grin* We all know they'll do nothing about it.

Cheers,
Ander

"Travis,

Dude

Bro

really c'mon now Trav, its time to grow up a bit !!!!!

For starters - My uncle ????? Think you got your wires crossed there bud !

Now what I dont understand is this: You know Marc and you have talked to him on each day at all of the 10 rallies where we have competed against each other this year. You have even had drinks in the bar with him...

So for someone who has spent there entire career proving to the world
what 'Big Kahunas' you have, why hide behind your DVD (which Im feeling sooo cool to have got a mention in the famous nitro circus - thanks) and ask me to pass on a message to someone, he is his own person so.............

Tell him yourself champ !

On the team manager front, I would pipe down a bit if I was you, with the longstanding reputation yours has...... He even told me straight up over a Jack n Coke that it was his job to get me excluded any way he could !!!! This was after he failed at this very objective on a rally (a rally you won) where I towed a competitor to the finish line who was finishing in front of me (quite sporting I thought), and your team tried to get me excluded for it.... cold man, real cold !!!

I love this sport with all my heart and have worked very hard to be part of it for the past 15 years - same goes for Marc.

You've got everything you need to go a long way in Rallying, so dont be a chump and dissapoint the rest of us by f*****g it all up !

QUOTE "I swear that I will slap him upside the head" QUOTE

I dont really know what this means but I promise you, your barking up the wrong tree kid !!!!!

Anyway, Hope that puts an end to all this smack talk stuff....
If you want to talk to me personally about all this, then I will see ya in 28 days, and give the upside head slapping thing a miss, Im not really into the whole Fist Fighting routine !

No offence, No grudges, lets just have an 08 of good, fun, fair rallies -

Merry Christmas

Andy P.

#Apparently you dont really follow all this rally stuff - But Im sure your Squeaky clean co-driver will pass it on !!!

BTW Christian, you would not beleive who I met at SEMA - THE snowmobiler, yep in 100,000 people I bumped into that guy.. THAT GUY ! Fate hey !
and HE found me !
Very Interesting to talk to !!!
Respect- you guys think of everything
please play clean this year....
A."

I sarcastically took this out of context from elsewhere.

Anders,
I have no idea if or what RA would do. If RA asked me to comment and I was Travis I would go with the deny all prior knowledge defense.

I know if I said something like that, people would put me on probation and demand apology, again. ;-)

It's funny that it's the guy who just won his second championship is whining, bad mouthing and sarcastically threatening to biotch slap his competitors. I would be less surprised if a sore loser stooped that low.

Your humble, squeaky clean (right now) and about to be drunk, I reckon, hmmm, servant,
Tedneck

If that was said in a serious tone that's shameful considering his fan base's median age is like what 12-14 year olds.
If a fellow competitor spoke to me like that I'd toss the rally and go end his season.

Is his name Marc and is he someone that is involved with rallying to an extent that Travis might have some reason to be pissed at?

Hi Andy, glad to see you post here.
Not trying to be rude but care to give us some insight on what you think could have been behind the message that Pastrana wrote?

You may or may not know but here in Fortress Americaâ„¢, there's a long and sordid history of rule bending, and special treatment favorable to the so called "factory" Subaru of America team, and they had some pretty obnoxious folks essentially taunting everybody just a few years back including some really repellent Pommie bastards. So I was thinking that since its still the same people running the operation, maybe they figure they can still do anything they they want and get all offended if anybody dares to encroach on whet they see is a Championship Series that they have bought and paid for.

And come on give us some dirt on this business of "THE" snowmobiler, it's all done and in the books so won't change anything to hear a bit of what was supposedly "really" going on.

Re: Merry Xmas from Travis Pastrana

No he is not....

like all of my family he barely understands what rally is.....

Just for the record...

Im aint no daddy was a rally driver, or wallet swinging trustafarian, or oh look a factory rally drive just landed in my mailbox kind of guy....

Im the 15YO kid who had a friend he looked up to that had an Mazda RX2 rally car that I thought was so cool and bugged him to take me to rallies......

The other options were stealing cars & taking drugs so....

I worked my ass off for 2 years and in 1990 I bought a Datsun 510

and so on it went from there....

and here I am 18 years later... hang on, fuck, what happened, its all a blur !!!

BTW, some one has just linked me in on this site.... lovin it - Ive been reading threads of everyone throughing shit at each other for nearly 3 hours now.....

Cause I just can eat any more herring...... (just for JVL)

and in true spirit of the season and the rules of the website

its a pleasure to intoduce myself and you can all go fuck yourselves !

Andrew,
I didn't mean any disrespect to yourself or your Uncle or Marc or Dick or Jane. I haven't met any of them. I was just curious about who or what supposedly got TP's huggies all in a bunch.

And what the H^ll is wrong with stolen cars and drugs. ;-)

Best of luck!
Ted

This gets better by the minute. (Interestingly the Special Stage website crashed... hmmm... that's a coincidence... but conspiracy theories aside)....

Lemme see.... I went over to Rally America's website to find out who this bloody bugger Andrew Pinker is. Tuns out it's some guy who lost the RA championship for 2007.

This is getting funnier by the minute.

So, Andrew, was losing made up for by all the prize money?
