For the few of us who follow f cup rally here is the champs 2015 season video. Thought it was a simple yet well done vid these guys put together. Good of them to show all aspects of rally right from building the car, taking it close to the deadline and getting out there and staying on the loud pedal! Great inspiration to hit the garage and keep building; especially for anyone with a volvo!

Haha see there's a reason!
The bigger one in my humble opinion is the proper shock towers which your putting in. Having the long 4 link is an added bonus and better but the stock setup isn't too bad. Also its easier to add down the road vs adding towers down the road. Thanks for that photo btw, I need to build a skid plate and that gives me ideas! |

I was more pointing out the simplicity of the cars. The stock trailing arms that are just plated, the trick little front control arms that work for both sides, the simple skid plate (that would definitely get mangled by Mongo). |

Hey Eric, notice it was the last guy, the younger one, who had all Bobo brakes all round..the real fast guys have sumpin else...you too can survive with those ABS fronts. You don't need nearly as much underbody shielding if the front wheels aren't driven...
How much those SFF-Pyörä 4-speed billet model gearboxes run? ____________________________________________________________- One. Class -- 2WD www.quantumrallysport.com http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/pages/Quantum-Rally-Sport/281129179600?ref=nf |

Considering a cup of coffee cost 23 bucks and a beer worth drinking costs 150, a pair of decent jeans 500 USD that's not bad... Wages are just a tad higher too maybe 200-300%. John... do you not remember our phone conversation a few days ago??? I made a very clear point that there are some seriously fast guys on the stock volvo calipers over in finland and sweden. Just got to get them set up right. Im no where near good enough to justify better brakes and the car currently doesn't have the oomph to need them anyway. The SF gearboxes are pricey but sellholm has an option for proper close ratios in both dog and syncro for around half that. Looks like they use the stock case. http://www.sellholmshop.se/transmission-1/vaxellada-komplett/volvo-m45-4vaxlad-m45.html Sellholm also makes a strengthened version that is similar in price to the SF unit. For all I know it could be the same gearbox. For the pricey version they also offer adaptability to many makes including bmw, ford, mercedes, etc. http://www.sellholmshop.se/transmission-1/vaxellada-komplett/volvo-m45000.html Too rich for me at the moment. Even If I had the money hard to justify. Maybe one day. In the meantime... John you get a chance to talk to the gear guy? Curiosity is a terrible thing at times! |

Those Sellholm gear kits are supposedly made by Drenth. A friend of mine in Sweden says they are very sweet shifting. And you can drive them on the street no problem.
