As long as you don't paint the whole car green for the event I think he'll be able to go on with life...

I helped jv dink around with the car, runs like poop but we took it around the block with one seat, and he slammed my head in to the cage a few times good times though!

Runs good now.
Dump the turpintine out, soaked the jets in carb cleaner, washed and blew out the carbies and dumped in fresh gas.
Now we's gotta work on the wacky alignment.
And clean the inside of the thing.
