I've got two of those in the wagon type that I'm working on. One has a brand new motor that's never been fired.

That car looks like it's in wonderful shape! Too bad it's a 4 door. Seems like the two doors are more popular than 4's or wagons.

I really like the looks of those cars! Seems like they're undervalued. Parts are very common and relatively inexpensive for their age. 40+ years old. I'm surprised that you could get such a nice looking car for such a low amt of coin.

Mike,

Generally, all cars are valued in this fashion 2 door, 5 door, 4 door.

All old Volvos are super cheap. Undervalued? Value is what someone is willing to pay for it. Almost no one in North America wants one except for a few people that are drawn to old cars that aren't massive and a bunch of old dudes/nerds. I've had friends threaten to jump out of moving vehicles when I mentioned dropping by a Volvo car show. If they kinda like the cars, they hate the crowd.

They are a great candidate for losing money though as you can't possibly restore one and get your money back!.. it's kind of like rallying without the driving fast in the forest bit smiling smiley

Fuck me you're brilliant!
Don't you see it? Jeeeezus!!!

You have just figured out that you could SAVE more money by driving an old Volvo in the woods!
see? Restoring an old volvo is a money loosing proposition, rallying a car in the woods loses money, so by combining the two ideas, there's a net savings!
You loose less money!

I've been saying that for 25 years, but you provide the new algorithm to prove it!

It brilliant stuff like this that makes it all worthwhile!

Ah! Thanks for reminding me that! I had been thinking about making the GT all original last night (I think I drank too much lol).

That's exactly the kind of wise words that I needed!
