typically I just see them standing around looking bored near freeway interchanges

That's OK, just replace it.

What had yopu parked for so long on some of the stages? Overexuberance?

8Min for driving too slow, not setting up for the downhill corner and plowing off the outside on AMR2.

25min for driving too fast, catching the EVO1 that was now infront of our slow ass, then in a 4 tightens to 2, having an "emergency" brake moment.
the spin would have been fine, but halfway around i decided to put it into reverse to maintain the forward momentum.
Instead, I ended up backing us down the inside of the corner where we waited 20 min for the sweep to deal with the other car behind.
i now have a good argument NOT to pull out subaru's (#26)
and to carry a Come-Along.
