In a mini lap top? Intergratable with any of Territrips sensors... plus anything else you would use a lap top for... all for $300ish??

Nah just some tin foil over the PCB's ;-)

Thats the first order of business... second is weather proof

We're looking into solid-state computers with Flash memory so there's no worry of vibration/shock loading.

Really, you don't need a rally computer these days as long as you're running stage notes. The time would be better spent learning to weld or lay fiberglass.

But we do what we like to do... so go for it. smiling smiley

Grassroots rally. It's what I think about.

Rally computer is really convenient to have if codriver gets off on the stage notes. I learned that as a codriver really quickly at Oregon Trail, my first rally on stage notes. Then this year at Rally Colorado as a driver, we ran almost half of a 7 mile stage with no notes at all because couldn't get back on.
Can't say about transits though as I could drive all the RC ones with just a list of the stages.
