More good news for rally in the USA. It is stated that the rally is still going to happen just with a revised itenerary.

"Well, with 2 months until the First Car Out, the commissioners of a county where 85% of our rally runs decided the sport of rally is not compatible with the grand economic plan. "

At least they don't have a super special. Oh wait, no they do have the golf course cemetery stage. Run it 27 times in each direction.

You know, it sucks when any rally loses its roads. Getting roads is a lobbying effort, and when power changes, shitty things can happen (look at Rim).

I ran 3 stages of 100AW in 2002 or 2003 (I don't remember which year). Then our alternator broke. Lots of fun. Sat in the woods for about 6 hours before our crew could get us. It was cold as shit, and we couldn't light a fire. Our crew flat towed us for about 50 miles back to service.

Great roads. Sorry about the politics.
