Lets stop thread jacking here and agree to disagree , how about that!" I think that is apologizing ! "Morrison" I ran out of time and money on finding a co-driver ,allready have one setup for rally wv ( if they have it) and maybe stpr and brs.

If you wanted to come in and post results, you should have done just that, and only that. You were doing the thread-jacking yourself telling about your "BS" story of how a local rear ended you and you sensibly "hauled-ass" to the next stage.

But another top tip for the next event you run RallySolo, wait at the end of the stage for the next car to finish. If they have a co-driver you then follow them to the next stage. You should have plenty of time to check in before the next stage starts. Even if you check in late, you're running RallySolo. You're not really going to an event to win (running blind against guys with notes), so it really shouldn't matter if you're late for the control. But if the bike guys don't need a co-driver, don't see how hard it can be for a RallySolo driver.

Thats what I ended up doing. Had a guy in front of me that would wait till after I finished the stage and we teamed up.. I got hit literally 2 min of the actual start of the event... My bad luck I guess. Sorry for being a dick, guess I just took it as you were putting me down/ preaching. Sorry , my formal apologies !

If EVERYBODY, EVERYWHERE would read what they just wrote before hitting the post/send button, the world would be a better place IMHO. (This includes spelling and grammer).

I'd just peeked at total # of rally entries and total rally solo. then total minutes of penalties for the 2 classes. tongue sticking out smiley

2 rally solo entries 22 rally entries.. looks like no penalties for the rally solo guys but a 100% DNF rate.

both rally solo drivers were the 3rd slowest in class. (i think both were novice drivers) so can't tell a lot from that.

As long as they are having fun though, its all good. smiling smiley

Oh the irony... nothing makes you look more like a schmoe than climbing up on a soapbox and doing the exact thing you're preaching against. In some circles that's called being an asshole; not that I'm calling you an asshole.

2 rally solo entries 22 rally entries..

Two cars, two people... too soon to really know much about "what does it mean??? double rainbows!" But I look at it this way: A couple rule changes (introducing RallySolo) and the number of car entrants in the rally went up 10%.

I'd say that so far it's a sucess. grinning smiley I wish I could come up with another idea every year that would result in 10% increases.

I misspell one commonly misspelled word and I’m crucified. Of course this is RallyAnarchy. What else would I expect?

You're crucified?

A gentle little poke by the kindest soul I know in all the NE very politely suggesting that one should spell words correctly when you're scolding others for spelling and grammar is "getting crucified"?

Sweet Christ on the cross! He even said he wasn't calling you anything....

It's not like it was the Spanish Inquisition! (cue gong)

What's with everybody looking for offense???

LMFAO!!! I was totally being sarcastic... actually I kinda figured you're misspelling of "grammer" was intentional and self-depricating for the sake of humor. Read my comments in that context and I think you'll see my sarcasm and humor. But it's even funnier now that you've admitted the mistake was legitimate... I can't stop laughing.

BTW John... I'm not in the godforsaken NE... I'm in the godforsaken country-state of Florida.
