No, I did not know that. Very very very cool! I said I'd only sell the XR if I could ever replace it with an RS200, but I might do it in steps... XR -> YB AWD XR or EsCos -> RS200. Yeah, I think I could live with that.

LMFAO!!! I was totally being sarcastic... actually I kinda figured you're misspelling of "grammer" was intentional and self-depricating for the sake of humor. Read my comments in that context and I think you'll see my sarcasm and humor. But it's even funnier now that you've admitted the mistake was legitimate... I can't stop laughing.

BTW John... I'm not in the godforsaken NE... I'm in the godforsaken country-state of Florida.
Okay, so I took you too seriously. Because I generally do take pride in what I post and review everything I type. So, where's the spell checker to help me out here? I appologize if I offended anyone.
To keep on topic of the OP, love that car every time I've seen it. Way out of my budget.

I loved the Escort. Chatting with Mike was a pleasure the whole day. That car has some WICKED engineering behind it, but man... does it vent gas horribly. I could smell the damn thing driving behind it half a mile on long straightaways. I'm surprised Mike and Josh didn't pass out from the fumes in the car!

He would have even towed my butt back to town if his motor wasn't overheating and the lifters were about to give up the ghost. Class act.

Bummed that we received a 4min penalty for declaring the wrong time on the MTC at the end of the day, but Sarah didn't double check her math and we were a bit stressed trying to avoid crashing into Andrew on the 12 mile flat-tow back to town!

All in all, a good weekend. My 3rd podium (woot!) and it was a good time. Sarah and I really started to click in the car by the end of the event and I think we're going to kick some butt later this year. Time to upgrade the suspension as I easily lost minutes every pass through Campbell Lake/CJ's Loop due to the wicked rough stuff. sad smiley

Working on vids now...

Took a big hit near the end of the stage. Engine shifted forward a bit and the upper rad hose wore through from the engine fans. Finished in a giant cloud of steam. Crossed the flying finish with the ECU cutting fuel aggressivly due to the overheating. (Normal temps - 97C WOT and it peaked up at 127C).

Had it happened .25 mi earlier, I would have had to get a tow off the stage.

Just where would you find a complete rebuilt Cossie motor and a bunch of 4wd junk-n-stuff?
Where? Where?

WHERE?

A mighty fine question... I do wonder.

BTW, John, what's a reasonable price to pay for a complete, but completely torn down turbo YB, with the wiring harness and ecu? I ask because there's actually someone local to me that supposedly has the whole shebang. If I can get it for a reasonable price, it seems wrong to not to.

Look at it, take piccies and send me an email before speculating..It all depends on condition, like is the crank rusty, bores oval AND rusty, guides whupped, valves been ground 10x...L1 or L6 or L8 ECU? Turbo shot to shit....mounts PS pump, alternator flywheels...
See what I mean? Gotta see it.

Ok... ok... but I'm fairly certain it's a YB since I was told about it by the race shop that has the disassembled motor sitting on the shelf.
