Nice that he had a god enough time he wants to come back..

Maybe more people will begin to look more seriously at nice simple 2wd cars if these Aussies continue to spank nearly all the Misterburus and Subiebitchis.

That would be a good thing.

A Subaru(-ish) that I can get excited about, sweet!

Wonder if they're planning on adding a turbo, or keeping it n/a.

I hope they keep it NA. Adam Crane has shown (time and again) a naturally aspirated rwd car can kick ass. I believe Dustin has a 20valve in it now (Dustin, what say you?) which are rated for what, 160hp? A stock brz is 200hp and weighs a max of 2800 pounds... so the power to weight ratio is probably pretty close to the same when rally prepped.

I think the big thing will be durability... but that shouldn't be an issue, cars have come a long way in two decades!

Knowing Will, I'm sure it will make 5,000 hp.

Yeah, the panda has a 20V in it. It's probably a little shy of 200 at the crank, but it takes a lot of effort and money to make power with the n/a, turbos are cheap(er) power, so he will probably use one.

Ah,
To the Nameless Crew,
Expect the AE86 army to be itching for the competition/comparison.

I'm available for shakedown and testing at the Idaho Rally.
Also, if you're looking for someone to race it at WRC Mexico, we've been there.

Don't get me wrong, it's awesome either way. I just wonder on the $/performance scale if it is necessary for gratuitous amounts of power to do well (as the fiestas have demonstrated).

Are you thinking the Fiestas have lots of power?

Neither did I. My point is the fiestas PROVE you don't need a lot of power to haul the mail. Same with Dustin's cororra.
