A bit of a stretch, but some cross border appeals can't hurt.
The 40th anniversary Rocky Mountain Rally needs more volunteers - particularly on Friday November 1. Licensed radio operators are particularly in demand. Volunteer compensation includes accommodations subsidy, gas card that will cover at least some of the gas cost, meals and most importantly... the heart-felt thanks from the organizing team and the competitors! The event is November 1/2 in Invermere BC... beautiful town, great host hotel. Maybe email chair@rockymountainrally.com HAMS should also contact ve6ccl@shaw.ca but be clear about what you're offering to do - we've had HAMS show up in (incompatable) multiple roles in the past because of poor communication.
