G79 with SS Hybrid mounts

mucking about with my G79 and i took off the Hans mount, but the threaded backer doesnt seem like it wants to remove, so do i need different mounts for the Hybrid? or can the hans backer be taken out without damaging this expensive turd.

If its like my G78, you had to kinda pull the padding away to slide the threaded washer out, and to replace it with a new one for whatever head and neck restraint you are using.

they glue the HANS backer in. so i called simpson. Turns out.

1. They own HANs AND Safety Solutions.

2. It is glued.

3. They sell a 32 thing to adapt the hybrid clips to HAN's anchors.

4. They can use the same anchor location.
