So my girlfriend who has avoided car ownership for quite some time HAS to buy a car in the next 4 months. She's got a hard on for old Saabs believe it or not. Specifically 99s and 900s (she prefers the 3 doors). I'm hoping to sell her on a 96 of course
![]() Does anyone have a lead on one that is good or can be made good delivered to Ontario for around 5k? I really don't need another _major_ project right now as I'm in the finishing stages of finishing that basement I started underpinning a couple years back and am about to take the upstairs of the house back to the studs ![]() Andrew M Onterrible 30ish |

Oh, God.
900s aren't old. Obviously a hot, fast 96 would be the way to fly. We should talk. John Vanlandingham Sleezattle, WA, USA Vive le Prole-le-ralliat www.rallyrace.net/jvab CALL +1 206 431-9696 Remember! Pacific Standard Time is 3 hours behind Eastern Standard Time. |

Wives belong in Subaru Legacy wagons. Enough space for groceries, dogs, kids, etc plus it's safe and has AWD and is cheap to maintain. And it's fun enough to drive around in the snow for hubby to not be bored. That's my thought anyhow, as I sit here preparing to go buy a $600 Impreza. FWD and auto though. Blah. Probably just buy it, drive it home, relist it on craigslist for $1000 and buy a gearbox for the rally car.
