Pasties
May 17, 2020 08:12AM
Today I learned that pasties are just Cornish cheburek cooked over a shovel instead of in oil.

Never heard about the shovel, but my semi-local British pub has pasties. Never tried them but sounds good.

I forget about British food. The joke seems to be it's forgettable but when I try it at the American British style pubs it's always been pretty good.

Only ever tried the fish n chips, bangers and mash, chicken curry and toad in the hole with yorkshire pudding though.

Pasties have that thick edge so that the miners could eat it without washing their hands, because water 500 meters underground is hard to come by, after they have finished they threw the crust away.

They used the shovel as that's what they used to mine with.

Yes, it's a Ranger.
Xr4Ti, it is rwd and was made in Germany.

In other news just went and looked at an 88 LX. 2.3 and T-5. For RWD stage would be the plan.
Run the old lima for a while them 2.5 duratec swap would be the plan. What a roach. Pass.

I just need to finish my damn 2.5 Duratec swap in my ZX3. It may be driving the wrong wheels but the chassis feels sooooo much better than the Fox.

I'm sure the car would be much quicker with much less work.
