I'm sorry to the site for Jens's behaviour

I feel responsible for this "flare up" in which he's so elequently once again displayed his true colors. He's got nothing to contribute, and just critizes every little bit that he can.

Oh no wait, he did recommend a $50 wrench for tightening hose clamps.

Here's what started it all.

I received this "pleasant" email from Jens yesterday :

"Morton,

I saw your post to the female. Do me a favor and leave me out of the discussion on this cluster-fuck site. I read some stuff here, but want to stay out of this stuff.

Thanks

Jens

My reply :

Jens everyone knows it, you and JVL are polar
opposites on many issues.
No big secret.

If it's such a "cluster-fuck", then why do you log
on here ?

His reply :

Unfortunately, he and I agree on more than you apparently think.

Because it required to log in to view any of the threads. It is interesting watching stupid fuckers clustering. Check out videos of horseshoe crabs mating.... it is remarkably similar to this site.

REAL NICE HUH ?

Let it go, maybe he'll get bored and go post on Rally-L or something.

Why? Don't be. The only actions you can rightly feel responsible for are your very own.

Hey Morten,

What part of "Private Message" is confusing you?

What's wrong now? Not having fun anymore?

Sheesh.... what a bunch of thin-skinned, whiny, foul mouthed malcontents.

Did it occur to you that if you leave me out of your discussions I might go away?

Try it. You might like it.

BTW: I sent you another private message.

Yep that's the truth. Jens and I agree about a lot of the ROOTS of the dilemna that Rally has been stagnating in for longer than the 21 years I've been around it.

The differnce is what are we doing about it.

Since my first event I have been finding stuff for cheap for local boys, teaching them how to weld, how to understand gear ratios, compression and camshaft interplay, jetting their carbies, calmng them down when they start thinking Big Ideas, and trying to talk a consistant message: strong, cheap, QUICK cars are the funnest and will keep people in the sport cause they're fudementally different than a street car, they are MORE INTENSE, and they're MORE FUCKING FUN, so we put up with the build and the costs etc.

Jens sum total is to moan "We're in WWIII, we're all going to die DIE DIE!!!!! I TELL YOU!!!!!! IIIIIiiEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

Hey Johh, you don't have to worry about WWIII. You're gonna miss it. How are those tsunami and volcano warning drills working out for ya?

Jens is kinda like a pimple. If you ignore it, it will eventually go away. If you don't it just gets red and irratating.

Hmmm. Here's a happy quote for post V-day.
