So I got a gmail account a few months ago and quite like it. Many friends now on there and I find myself conversing via Google chat regularily with people and making plans with friends. They recently added Google Talk which you can also do video or voice chat on. It's pretty convenient I must say.

I like how google email automatically puts email threads together, so you don't get a long-ass list of emails like with normal accounts (ie yahoo).

but I don't like how they don't have folders (ie yahoo), so you still get a long list of emails in your inbox.

pretty much everyone I know is on yahoo IM, so I still use that on a daily basis, including my entire company.
